It's been an exciting third quarter for GetTrusted.com. We've been busy helping businesses and individuals acquire online trust and identity verifications. This month we're holding a meeting at our residence for those who wish to get online identity assurance and to promote Internet security and authentication.
Internet E-mail and Web Browser support will be for Netscape Communicator, Mozilla, Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird only. Outlook, Outlook express, and Internet Explorer are out until Microsoft fills its bag of tricks back up with something that actually works. To learn about mozilla visit www.Mozilla.org. We are only supporting Mozilla based applications as they are proven resilient against spyware and system crashes. Prerequisite: Individuals must be enrolled in the thawte e-mail system. You will also be required to send us an e-mail using your thawte free mail certificate prior to attendance. If you need assistance we will send you a link on how to configure your e-mail client with your new personal e-mail cert. Enrollment can be completed by visiting http://www.thawte.com/email . A note regarding entry into the Thawte E-mail System. We advise you to not use an ISP, business, or free e-mail (yahoo, hotmail, etc.) account to enroll in the Thawte system, as you will want to be able to take this account with you where ever you go. You should also not use your social security number as your national ID number when you enroll in the thawte e-mail system. A Drivers license number is the preferred NIN. Also, if you need a real meaningful personal and permanent e-mail address, a spam-resistant account can be provided to you by The Neighborhood Network. You will be required to provide your own domain name in order to host your e-mail account. Just call (312) 242-1691 to enroll. If you cannot attend this meeting we can come to your location and issue the proper amount of assurance points to get your name in your e-mail certificate. Call us if this will be more convenient for you. There may also be meetings in the following months to come at the Quincy Public Library.
